About Rafiki
Rafiki is a Perth-based volunteer organisation that has provided plastic and reconstructive surgery to patients in Tanzania since 2004. Entirely volunteer-run, Rafiki Australia Tanzania supports health and education in Tanzania, and its surgical camps provide free reconstructive surgery alongside training for Tanzanian medical teams.
The Rafiki Ball is Rafiki's major fundraising event, raising the majority of the yearly operating costs that send medical teams to Tanzania.
