Stefan Diamonds Lights Up the Night at The Brainchild Ball
At Stefan Diamonds, we believe in the power of giving back, especially when it comes to supporting causes that are close to our hearts. That's why we were thrilled to partner with the BrainChild Ball once again in 2023, an extraordinary event hosted by the Pirate Ship Foundation, in their mission to combat brain cancer in children.
The BrainChild Ball 2023, proudly presented by Wise Wine, was a spectacular evening held at Crown Towers Perth, with décor inspired by New York City. With over 530 guests in attendance, the event was a testament to the collective commitment to creating a future where every child is happy, healthy, and free from the devastating impact of brain cancer.
As part of our partnership with the BrainChild Ball, Stefan Diamonds founders Fiona Hoang and Joshua Reed were proud to support the foundation and all of its endeavours with the donation of a stunning 1-carat round brilliant cut diamond, which was to be won by one lucky invitee at the glamorous champagne bar. Each guest had the opportunity to purchase a glass of champagne with the hopes of winning this breathtaking diamond, adding an element of excitement and anticipation to the evening.
But our support didn't stop there. In addition to the diamond auction, Stefan Diamonds also donated a dazzling chandelier pendant for auction, further adding to the excitement and allure of the event.
The funds raised from the BrainChild Ball will be used to support the growth of an exciting new collaboration, the Preclinical Translational Research Alliance for Paediatric Brain Cancer (PETRA). This ground-breaking alliance brings together leading research scientists and clinicians from 14 research institutions and hospitals across Australia, all united in their mission to identify better, less damaging treatments for paediatric brain cancer.
At Stefan Diamonds, we are honoured to stand alongside the Pirate Ship Foundation in their tireless pursuit of a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Together, we believe that by supporting innovative research initiatives like PETRA, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children battling brain cancer.
As the night drew to a close, we were filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful cause. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the BrainChild Ball, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the fight against paediatric brain cancer.
Together, let's shine a light of hope and healing for children and families affected by this devastating disease.
